Rotary valves from U-Tec carry out their individual tasks and are ideally suited to pressureless material transfer and discharge. However, they can also be employed as metering components. In order to be able to transport your bulk goods with a rotary valve, they must be free-flowing and must not be prone to caking. Rotary valves from U-Tec are generally installed underneath silos and bunkers in order to accept the silo pressure from the bulk goods and to relieve the pressure for the subsequent extraction components such as augers, trough chain conveyors or tube chain conveyors. Examples of areas of use for rotary valves are the plastics, cement or chemical industries. However they are also employed in the manufacturing of foodstuffs.
